In the latest chapter of a saga that has captivated fans and tabloids alike, Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara have officially called it quits after a tumultuous decade together.

The news was confirmed by Wanda, marking yet another episode in their storied history of public breakups and reconciliation since their marriage in May 2014.

But true to form, this separation has been anything but smooth. In a dramatic turn of events, Wanda, who recently unfollowed Icardi on social media, has found herself being financially cut off.

The footballer’s reaction to the split was swift and harsh—he reportedly blocked her access to his credit cards, a move that has only fuelled the public’s interest in their already scandalous split.

Journalist Majo Martino broke the news, as relayed by Rio Negro, and Wanda’s lawyer, Ana Rosenfeld, has confirmed it.

According to Rosenfeld, blocking credit cards is a common tactic in such situations, often used by men to exert financial control and pressure during a separation.

She explained, “There are no lies here, quite the opposite. They are realities, which, of course, are reality as the world turns, but that is the truth.”

Rosenfeld further elaborated on the situation, saying, “I don’t know where that information came from. It is true that men often use this as a coercive measure. In cases that I have worked on for 50 years, the first thing men do is cut off the credit card or not take care of child support obligations for their minor children.”
