Bill Daley: "The NHL will consider the individual participation of players in the Olympics later"

The deputy commissioner of the NHL Bill Daley said that the league will work out the possibility of individual admission of players to participate in the 2018 Olympics later. The NHL on Monday announced that the league players will not participate in the 2018 Olympics.

"This question will be worked out by the league later, when the time comes," Daley says.

Recall, in February, the owner of the "Washington" Ted Leonsis said that he would support the hockey players if they want to go to the Olympics-2018 in spite of the decision of the NHL. In September last year captain of the "Capitals" Alexander Ovechkin said that in any scenario, he would go to Pyeongchang.
